My name is Devin Barker, I recently moved back to my home state of Vermont with my husband, 2 dogs, and our cat. Living back home made me realize what my true passion was, organizing spaces to help create order and flow.  With this vision, I decided to put my dreams first and Spruced Up Spaces was born. Having worked in the service industry for 20 years, I  have gained great mental organization which I can put it into my plan for your space. I love helping clients sort through their belongings to find what they love and need and what can find a new home.  I have always had a knack for organizing and putting similar things together. Not only do I enjoy the visual result, but also the process of getting there.   

Debra, my stepmother, was a teacher. Whenever I would go to her classroom,  she would want me to reorganize her desk. Debra was a wonderful woman, but her brain didn't work the same way mine did and she struggled with creating and keeping order of spaces. Sorting through the randomness was always an experience, I never knew what I was going to find! But every time I would organize for her, her giddiness for the outcome coupled with the peacefulness I felt in the process opened my eyes to the possibilities.  Let me utilize my passions by helping bring your spaces back to life via Spruced Up Spaces!
